Graphic Recording

These murals were the result of a World Cafe, a visioning session with a university human resources department.  It was jointly facilitated by Beth Farris Secosky and Ellen who recorded the discussion through these four murals using markers and chalk.  At the end of the session, the murals were transferred to the HR department to remind participants of the vision they articulated that day.

Learning Maps

This learning map was designed to aid understanding of roles during a corporate transition. A travel scene was drawn manually on mural paper prior to the meeting and then the facilitator recorded the key points of a panel discussion as it took place. The map was also created in PowerPoint®  and distributed to participants so they could record their own notes.

An effective process flowchart clearly depicts the steps required to accomplish a task -- and who is responsible for the step.  They supplement written procedures and enable your staff or customers to understand and evaluate procedures.  

In this example, three organizations' systems and staff were working together to enroll clients in a program.  Each vertical column identifies either the staff or system of one of the organizations.  The boxes within the column describe the actions they are each responsible for taking in order to enroll clients into the program, and create updates and notifications.
