An effective
process flowchart
clearly depicts the steps required to accomplish a task -- and who is
responsible for the step. They supplement written procedures and
enable your staff or customers to understand and evaluate
procedures.
In this
example, three organizations' systems and staff were working together to
enroll clients in a program. Each vertical column identifies either
the staff
or system of one of the organizations.
The boxes within the column describe the actions they are each responsible for
taking in order to
enroll clients into the program,
and create updates and notifications.
